Description

The converted police station has a shared courtyard, and private front gardens. The new houses each have a garden, and a shared communal parking courtyard. The new apartments either have individual gardens, balcony or a roof terrace (minimum 8m2).

Planning History

The former police station is locally listed and the site sits within the St Ann's Conservation Area. As part of a city-wide restructuring programme by the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime, the St Ann's Road police station was considered suitable for disposal and redevelopment given its age and associated cost of maintenance. At the time when One Housing Group purchased the site, the building was no longer in use and vacant. Extensive consultation with Haringey planners prior to the planning submission in December 2015 led to a unanimous approval in February 2016.
