Description

The project looks to significantly improve the public realm, introducing a new, publicly accessible pedestrian route through the site, linking local amenities and exposing the typically 'hidden' centre of an urban block. In doing so, Proctor and Matthews Architects have created a sequence of spaces that reference local promenades and parades. A courtyard at the centre of the scheme, a visual focus of the apartments featuring a reflecting pool and landscaped island, acts as a tranquil space to discover within the centre of Cheltenham.
