Centenary Quay Phase Three
Centenary Quay Marketing Suite, Austen Heights, Centenary Plaza Southampton SO19 9UE
Description
Each flat has a generous private balcony facing south or west. The balconies are angled to afford stunning views towards the Thames Estuary. In addition a large communal garden is situated at the heart of the scheme. This incorporates a mixture of hard and soft landscaping featuring a number of mature trees, wild flower meadow and other indigenous plants. Seating areas are scattered among the planting, with benches formed of railway sleepers in a conscious nod to the railway line running directly to the north of the site. Communal entrances to two of the three blocks are accessed via the courtyard garden, deliberately bringing residents through the garden to create an active and vibrant space.

A further meeting was held with Officers on the 22nd of February 2013 to present the revised Stage D design proposals prior to submitting planning. A detailed planning application was submitted in July 2013 and full planning permission was granted in September 2013.
