Ely Court, South Kilburn
1-21 Chichester Road London NW6 5QW
Description
The new dwellings occupy gap sites around the Regent's Park estate. The scheme aims to compensate the increased density of the neighbourhood by investing in public realm improvements around the estate. A new public square is created next to a new community centre on Robert's Street and improved gardens and play areas are provided around the other blocks. All dwellings have private amenity most with access to communal garden.
Planning History
The scheme received approval from the Camden planning committee on 3rd September 2015. The client quoted: 'There was a great sense of team work throughout the process and a willingness to meet the tight timescales without compromising on design outputs. This helped shape a quality application which was recognised by DM colleagues and the DC Committee.'
