Planning History

This design was successfully negotiated with LB Hackney over a period of 18 months; a public consultation was held over 2no afternoons, the neighbouring resident association, The Shoreditch Trust, invest in Hackney and the LB Hackney\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Secured by Design Officer were consulted. The design was presented twice to the Hackney Design Review Panel and altered to respond to the panel\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s comments. The planning application (which was a joint application with the scheme developed for the 1-3 Wenlock Road site) finally received unanimous support by the LB Hackney Planning Committee in September 2009.
