Planning History
A planning application for this brownfield site was submitted on 2 May 2013 and approval granted on 29 July 2013. Planners considered that the redevelopment of the land (previously two streets of terraced housing) met with the objectives of the National Planning Policy Framework. The allotment gardens which were within the site were not in use and did not appear to be in demand. The design, appearance and layout were considered acceptable and the development would not have an adverse impact upon residential amenity, highway safety or car parking.
